1 lb ground beef or ground pork or ground turkey
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs or 1/4 cup quick oats
1/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce and/or ketchup
1/4 cup finely chopped onion (optional)
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and mix together (easiest way to mix this is by using your hands). Shape into 24 meatballs.

To oven bake: place in ungreased 9 x 13 pan, bake for 20-25 minutes at 350F.
To pan fry: cook in skillet on medium heat, turning as needed, until browned. ( about 20 minutes)
To microwave: place in microwave proof pan, cover loosely. Micro on high for 3 minutes, rearrange meatballs. Cover loosely again and micro until brown inside, about 5-7 minutes.

Other spices can be added for variety: oregano, basil, thyme. We have even used cinnamon and mint which added a very different yet delicious flavor.
