2 c. flour 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp salt 1/4 c. shortening 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 2/3 c. milk 1/4 c. butter, melted
Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Blend in shortening and Cheddar cheese until crumbly. Add the milk and stir. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
