1 qt vinegar
1 qt water
1 cup salt

cucumbers
crushed red pepper
dill
slices of onion
alum

Directions:
Directions:
Bring vinegar, water and salt to a boil and pour over this: Cucumbers - for 1 qt add - 1 tbsp crushed red pepper, dill and slices of onion, 1 tsp alum.
