"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Sex in a Pan, by Cindy Empson, is from The Wiersch Family Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
BOTTOM LAYER: 1/2 c. chopped pecans 1 stick butter 1 c. of flour or 1 c. crushed graham crackers
2nd LAYER: 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened 1 c. powdered sugar 1 c. cool whip
3rd LAYER: 2 packages chocolate instant pudding 3 c. milk 1 T. vanilla
4th LAYER: 1 c. cool whip (or whatever remains in container) 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Make this dessert in layers, mixing the ingredients from each layer together well. Put bottom layer, then 2nd layer in a rectangular glass dish and refrigerate until chilled (about half an hour). Then add 3rd layer and refrigerate until chilled. Top with 4th layer and chill for another few hours (or until the next day). Store uneaten portions in refrigerator.
