Sift together:
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 t. soda
1/4 t. salt
vanilla

Stir in:
2 c. fruit cocktail (do not drain)
1 egg, slightly drained
Pour into greased 8 inch baking dish.

Mix: 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shopped pecans

Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream, while still warm.
