2 c rolled oats (not quick cooking)
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 t ground cinnamon
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 t slat
1/2 c tahini
4 T butter
2/3 c granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 T vanilla
1 c semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 c chopped nuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350*;line 2 baking sheets with parchment.

Whisk oats, flours, cinnamon, baking soda and salt in mixing bowl. Beat tahini and butter in large bowl until blended to a paste. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar, beating until well combined. The mixture will be a little grainy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in oats until moistened. Add chocolate chips and nuts.

With damp hands, roll 1 T batter into a ball, place on prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake until golden brown, about 16 minutes. Cool on pan for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Let pans cool for a few minutes before baking another batch.
