3 c yams (about 4 good-sized ones)
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 c milk
Topping:
1/3 c butter, melted
1 c light brown sugar
1/2 c flour
1 c pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Peel yams and steam until tender; mash and place in mixing bowl. Mix in sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, and milk. Put in 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
Topping: Melt butter and add remaining ingredients. Sprinkle on top of potato mixture; bake 25 - 30 minutes at 350.
