My "Memere" - my grandmother - made this whenever she came to visit. Boston to Denver is a long way, so mostly we ate this at Christmas time! However, it has since been made at just about every family get-together. A little savory, a little sweet this makes a great addition to any potluck. Good for the pallet, good for the soul!

This recipe is to be featured in an American cookbook to be sold in book stores nationally. Congrats Memere!
