Bourbon Sauce

1 cup butter room temperature
2 cups packed brown sugar
8 egg yolks, beaten
2 cups heavy cream
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup bourbon

Directions:
Directions:
Bourbon Sauce
Cream butter and sugar together in small bowl with a mixer or whisk. Transfer to top of a double boiler, not touching simmering water. Beat in egg yolks and salt. Slowly add hot cream and stir constantly until thickened. Slowly stir in bourbon until an even consistency is obtained. Keep warm.

Serve over bread pudding, pound cake, or ice cream.
