2 lbs. round steak- cubed
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 c.oil
2 Tblsp. flour
3 c. water
1 Tbles. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. white Vinegar
1/3 c. ketchup
3 carrots-- cut
4 potatoes- diced
1 onion- sliced

Heat 1/4 c. oil. Stir in 2 Tblsp. flour. Add water, salt, pepper, vinegar, oregano, basil, ketchup.

Simmer 30 minutes.

Add carrots, simmer 15 minutes.
Add potatoes and onion.

Cook till thoroughly tender-- approximately. 45 minutes longer.

This is a delicious dish that tastes especially great on a cold winter day. Has a little zing.
