1 c butter or margarine
1 c firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 t baking soda
1 t cinnamon
1/2 t salt (optional)
3 cups Quaker Oats (quick)
1 c raisins

Mix margarine and sugars, then eggs and vanilla. Mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Blend together. Stir in oats and raisins. Drop by rounded tablespoons. Bake 350 for 10-12 minutes,
