I can pork and beans ( Van Camps is the brand we use)

Pre cooked bacon

Sliced American cheese

Hamburger buns

Directions:
Directions:
Open hamburger buns and put on foil or cookie sheet.

Spoon pork and beans (with bean juice) on each open face bun. Place bacon on top and add a slice of cheese. Bake at 350 . Watch close. They cook really fast! Serve with potato chips.

Jake this was the first recipe Nana learned to make in her Home Economics class at Lamesa High School in 1955. She passed it on to me 35 years ago and I've been making it ever since. Keith always asks me to make him Bean Burgers on his birthday. They are easy as pie to make and very tasty!
