1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup glace ginger
1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
1 cup boiling water
1 1/2 cups S.R. Flour
pinch salt

Directions:
Directions:
Add to mixing bowl butter, syrup, sugar, baking powder, dates, ginger, apricots and boiling water, stir until sugar and butter are dissolved. Add Flour and salt. Mix well and turn immediately into greased and lined loaf tin or ring tin. Bake in moderate oven for 3/4hr for loaf tin or 1/2 hr for ring tin.
