1LB. Hamburger

1tsp. butter

2 cups sliced raw potatoes

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 cup sliced carrots

1/2 cup uncooked rice

1/4 cup green pepper

2 cups tomato (canned)

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1 cup hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger in butter. Place in layer of meat in 2 qt. casserole dish. Lap with a layer of each veg. and rice. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour hot water over all and cover. Bake at 325 for 2 hrs. Add more water if needed.
