9 inch pastry for two-crust pie
2 cans cherry pie filling
1/4 tsp almond extract
2 tbsp margarine or butter
milk
sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 425. Prepare pastry as directed. Mix almond extract together with cherry pie filling and pour into crust, dot with margarine. Cover with top crust, seal and flute edges. Cut slits in top crust. Brush top with milk, and sprinkle with sugar. Cover edge with 2-3 inch strip aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning; remove foil during last 15 minutes of baking. Bake until crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through slits in crust, 35 - 45 minutes
