Cheese Pastry -
3 ounce Cream Cheese
1/2 cup Butter
1 cup Sifted Flour

Filling -
1 Egg
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Soft Butter
1 tsp Vanilla
Dash of Salt
2/3 cups coarsely broken pecans

Directions:

Cheese Pastry -
Let cheese and butter soften and blend. Stir in flour. Chill slightly, about 1 hour. Shape in 2 dozen one inch balls. Place in tiny ungreased 1-3/4 inch muffin tins. Press dough on bottom and sides of cups.

Filling:
Beat together egg, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt just until smooth. Divide half the pecans among pastry lined cups. Add egg mixture and top with remaining pecans.

Bake in 325 oven for 25 minutes or until filling is set. Cool. Remove from pans.
