1 c. flour
3/4 c. uncooked oats
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. diced apples

SAUCE
3/4 c. sugar
2 T. cornstarch
1 c. water

Directions:

CRUST
Mix all ingredients until crumbly. Press 1/2 of mixture into greased glass casserole Cover w/ 4 c. diced apples.

SAUCE
Cook sauce ingredients until thick and clear. You may need to watch and stir continuously while cooking. Add 1 tsp. vanilla. Pour sauce over apples. Top (crumble) with remaining crust mixture.

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour. This bubbles over easily so place a cookie sheet under to catch boil over.
