"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous
What special talents did your parents nurture in you? How have you developed those talents?
My mother played the piano at church and she would have special songs by groups or solos, duet or quartets. I could sing any part--soprano, alto, tenor or bass--in a girl's quartet. After I was married and had a family I organized a church choir and our oldest daughter was the pianist. I directed the choir for several years (10 or 15). The Lord really anointed!
