1/2 cup flour
salt, pepper to taste
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1-1 1/2 lbs. beef for stew
1 14 oz can beef broth
1 jar of meatless spaghetti sauce or 28 oz can of tomato sauce
4 carrots, peeled, sliced
3 potatos, peeled, cut into chunks
1 14 oz can green beans
2-3 bay leaves

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil over medium heat in pan. Place flour, salt, pepper and beef cubes in container, cover and shake until coated. Cook in oil until browned on all sides. Put beef and all other ingredients in crock pot ( except green beans) and cook on low all day. Add green beans and cook 30 minutes. Remove bay leaves before serving. Enjoy with some fresh baked bread. Great for a cold day. Enjoy.
