12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 Tbsp shortening (Crisco)
80 Strawberries (approximately)
white chocolate (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In a double boiler, melt chocolate chips and shortening. Wash berries and pat dry with paper towel. Dip berries in warm chocolate and dry on wax paper. If desired, melt the white chocolate and make designs on the strawberries.

The perfect dessert, snack, brunch, etc. Everyone loves these strawberries, plus they are fun to make! They say you can also use pineapple or tangerine slices, but I can't imagine them being better than strawberries. I've also seen them decorated like little tuxedos with the white chocolate. Enjoy!
