1 Can evaporated milk
1 1/2 C milk
1/2 C cocoa
1/4 C cornstarch
1/4 C flour
4 eggs
1 C sugar
2 Tbls of butter
1 tsp of vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
İHeat evaporated milk and 1 c of milk in 3 or 4 qt glass bowl in microwave for 5 minutes or until milk starts to come to a boil. Mean while mix flour, cornstarch, cocoa, and sugar. Add milk slowly and use whisk to mix well. Last add eggs one at a time mixing with whisk. Pour about 1 cup of hot milk into mixture mixing well. Then add mixture to remaining milk mixing well with whisk. Return to microwave and cook for 2 minutes. Rwmove and stir. Then microwave for 1 minute at a time stirring between each minute until mixture is thick. This procedure takes about 5-8 minutes after milk has been heated, depending on the strength of the microwave. Add butter and vanilla stirring until butter is melted. Let cool about 30 minutes and then pour into a baked pie shell.(See recipe for pie crust) Place in refrigerater until cool. Top with cool whip or whipped heavy cream(see cream how to whip) You can grate some unsweetened chocolate on top.

You can use a frozen pie shell but homemade is better. I make my pie shell before I start filling and bake it while I am making filling. My Mom showed me how to make this pie when I was 12 years old. Except she only used the egg yolks and with the egg whites she made a meringue.(See meringue how to)
