1 lb. pinto beans
1/2 lb thick sliced bacon (works better with ham hock if you have it)
1 onion
Salt and pepper to taste
Chili mix to taste
1-12oz Coca Cola
Water

Directions:
Directions:
Easiest to cook in 4 quart slow cooker.Wash and rinse beans about 3 times. Add sliced bacon slices across bottom of crockpot. Put beans in crockpot, and add 1 can Coca Cola. Add water to about 1" below top of pot. Cook about 10 hours on low or until soft. Add 1 onion, sliced in good sized pieces. Add salt, pepper and chili mix to your taste. Let cook about 2 more hours.
