"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste
This recipe for "No Onions Recipe", by Mark Sapp, is from THE SMITH FAMILY COOKBOOK,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
Mark did not eat onions in anything. If there was even part of an onion wrapped up in the refrigerator he would throw it out. He swore he was allergic to onions. The funny thing about his "allergic reaction" to onions is daddy was pureeing the onions and putting them in the food anyway. Mark never figure it out and never even had an allergic reaction. I guess dad fooled him.
