1 quart apples chopped/ sliced
1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
1 cup grated cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Peel apples, quarter, core and slice. Arrange in shallow baking pan which has been greased. Add water and lemon juice. Mix sugar, cinnamon, flour and salt. Work in butter to a crumbly mixture. Grate cheese, add to topping mixture, and stir in lightly. Spread mixture over apples and bake in 350 oven until apples are tender and crust is crisp. About 35 minutes.
