1 lb ground chuck
1 lb Italian sausage
1/4 cup minced green pepper
1/4 cup minced onion
2 eggs
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 tsp parsley flakes
1 tsp basil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
4-5 strips bacon (uncooked) - optional

Directions:

Combine all ingredients except bacon. Place in loaf pan. Lay bacon strips across top, if desired.

Cover adn bake at 350 degrees 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 hours
