1 lb Italian sausage
1 clove minced garlic
1 tbsp dried basil
1 1/2 tsp salt
1- 14 oz can diced tomatoes
2 - 6 oz cans tomato paste
10 oz lasagna noodles
3 cup mashed cottage cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tbsp parsley flakes
2 beaten eggs
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 # thin sliced mozzarella cheese

Brown meat slowly and spoon off excess fat. Add next five ingredients and simmer uncovered 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Cook noodles in lg. amt. boiling salted water til tender; drain and rinse. Combine remaining ingredients except mozzarella cheese. Place half the noodles in greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish; spread 1/2 cottage cheese mixture over noodles; add 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese and 1/2 of the meat sauce. Repeat layers.

Bake covered 375 degrees 30 min, then uncover and bake additional 15 minutes
