Ingredients:  
1 cup butter
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups plain flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup sour cream
4 cups chopped nuts (you can use less nuts)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 325. Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add flour mixed with soda; add flavoring. Fold in sour cream and nuts. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done. Remember if it gets too brown put foil over the top towards the end of baking.

My Granny always made a nut cake at Thanksgiving. This is the closest thing to it. Really delicious!
