1 cup sugar
2 tsp. flour
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
8-10 large tart apples (peeled, cored and sliced)
2 Tbsp butter
1 pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400

Line greased pie pan with bottom pie crust

In a large mixing bowl, mix together sugar, flour, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Spread a little of the sugar mixture over the bottom of the crust lined pan.
Place sliced apples in crust lined pan. Spread remaining sugar mixture over apples. Dot apples and sugar with butter. Lay top pie crust over apples and seal both bottom and top crust with fork or pinching.

Cut slits on top of pie crust to allow pie the breath.

Bake 50-60 minutes until apples are tender.
