Ingredients:
Yellow corn meal
Veg. oil
Salt
Pepper
1tsp sugar
Water (just enough to make this mixture pourable. Not too thick and not too thin)

Directions:
Directions:
Pour veg 1/4 inch deep into heavy pan and place that in the oven to preheat at 360*

Mix 2 cups corn meal, 1 cup flour, salt, pepper and sugar with water. Use just enough water to make the mixture to a medium constancy. (Bobo says the consistency must be pourable.) When the oven is ready, take the heavy skillet with oil out and pour the mix into the frying pan and bake for 35 minutes or until brown.

WARNING: DO NOT PUT TOO MUCH OIL!!

Personal Notes:
Funny story: I asked for this recipe and Bobo told me a CUP of oil with the rest of the ingredients. I poured a CUP of oil and caught my oven on fire in our new house. I thought Johnny was going to kill me. Johnny told Caitlin to get the fire extinguisher and instead, Caitlin ran for her camera. All of our alarms went off, and because they are electric and battery operated we couldn't turn them off. Johnny opened all the doors and windows because of the smoke and our neighbor pulls up to the front door and says "Dinner ready?" That's what this means at his house when this happens. It was such a mess. So this time.... I got better directions from BoBo. LOL Keep your fingers crossed. IF this recipe is correct...Guaranteed to be the best fried cornbread ever!!! By the way....I am not allowed to try this again until I test it out at Bobo's house.
