"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
9 cups chex (I use rice-chex)
1 cup choc chips (I use Hershey's milk choc ones)
1/2 cup peanut butter (any kind)
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2cup powder sugar

Directions:
Directions:
melt the choc. chips in a microwave safe bowl as well as the peanut butter and butter. ( I put them in separate bowls that way the kids can help) once melted start mixing them together and add in the vanilla. once mixed, add to chex in another bowl(stir gently in order to not crumble the chex. once all is coated, put in a large sealed bag with the powdered sugar and shake until coated. Then spread on wax paper to cool and ... enjoy!

** This is a great fun treat to make with the kids, it is easy, fun, everyone can contribute no matter their age and very little clean up is needed!!! I pour the leftovers in tupper-wear and store in the refrigerator to keep fresh ** It's supper yummy!!!
