1 c butter
1 1/2 c sugar
3 well-beaten eggs
1 tsp baking soda (dissolved in 1 1/2 tsp water)
3 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 c chopped walnuts
1/2 c currants
1/2 c seeded raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and gradually add sugar. Next add well-beaten eggs, and dissolved baking soda. Sift together 3 c of flour, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp cinnamon. Add half of the dry mix to the other mixture, then add 1 c of chopped walnuts, 1/2 c of currants and 1/2 c of chopped seeded raisins. Add the rest of the flour mixture and beat well. Drop by spoonful one inch apart on a cookie sheet and bake 10-15 minutes in 350 oven.
