2 sticks of butter
1 block cream cheese, (left out to soften)
6 eggs
3 cups sugar
1 cup self rising flour
2 cups plain flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
MIx butter and cream cheese until smooth, then stir in eggs, one at a time. Stir in flour and vanilla.
When smooth, pour into a greased bundt pan. Bake at 300 for 1 hour- (place pan into cold oven and let it heat while baking)

I got this recipe from Derothea Sapp, Edwards wife in Alabama, (my mother in law after Eva Mae went to heaven). I have not tried this recipe but she makes a very good pound cake. I have a recipe from Eva Mae in the "Vegetables" category.
