Ingredients:  
1 cup crisco
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cup sifted plain flour
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Combine thoroughly shortening, sugar and eggs. Add sifted dry ingredients. Chill dough 2 hours.
Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Roll balls in mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown.
