2 cucumbers peeled sliced very thin
One medium onion, quartered and chopped into thin strands
Two heaping tablespoons of mayonnaise (start with one, then add slowly Ė donít add too much)
Three dashes of pepper.

Directions:
Directions:
Stir all ingredients up in a mixing bowl.

The trick is to make it the day before you need it and refrigerate it to allow time for the flavors to come through.

This recipe was passed down from my Grandmother, Florence Gibbs, to my Mom and Dad who both made it a tradition for Thanksgiving.
