Ingredients: 1/2 lb fresh thin asparagus spears 1 can Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls 1 1/2 cups finely shredded swiss chees 1 1/2 cups of thinly sliced deli ham cut into 1 inch strips 2 tsp. olive oil 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Directions:Preheat oven to 375º. In skillet steam asparagus to crisp/tender on cookie sheet unroll dough and prick with fork. Bake 6-9 minutes until light golden brown. Sprinkle with 1/2 up cheese, top with ham, add 1 cup cheese. Arrange asparagus in rows over cheese alternating tips, brush with oil sprinkle with pepper flakes. Bake 5-7 minutes until edges of crust are deep golden brown and chees is melted. Cool and cut with serrated knife into squares. Serve warm. |
