1 1/2 to 2 lbs. ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
dash garlic powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 cup catsup
2 tsp. vinegar
2 tbsp brown sugar

Directions:
Brown hamburger and onion together. Drain off grease. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a simmer. Serve on buns.

This is one of the very first real meals I made for Kris after we were married. The recipe card is almost destroyed from being used for so many years. Still one of our favorites. It was really a microwave recipe but I always make it on the stove top.
