1-1/2# lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 small can taco sauce
1 T. Worchestshire
2 C. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 C. butter
1 C. buttermilk
1-1/2 C. shridded Cheddar cheese
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Saute 1st 3 ingredients until meat looses its pink; drain.
Add the taco sauce and Worchestshire and simmer while making the crust.
Stir together the dry ingredients. Cut in the butter. Add the buttermilk and knead on floured surface for one minute.
Roll out thin to fit large skillet.
Pour burger mixture into crust.
Beat the eggs and mix with the cheese. Spread over burger mixture.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.

Dorothy was a cherished neighbor in Trona. I have used a cup and a half of mild salsa in place of the taco sauce.
