1 pkg strawberry jello
1 pkg apple jello
1 1/2 cups boiling water
6 large apples
1 large stick cinnamon
6 whole cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water.
Core apples, starting at the stem end. Pare off a 1 inch strip of skin around each apple. Place apples, stem end up in large skillet. Pour gelatin syrup over apples. Add spices. Cover and cook over medium heat bringing the liquid to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until apples are tender. Remove cover. Place skillet under broiler about 2 inches from heat. Broil, while basting frequently with the liquid until apples are glazed and slightly browned. Serve warm (or cool) with syrup.
