1 cup dates
1 cup raisins
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda dissolved in hot water
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup pecans
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs. Add flour, baking soda mixture and vanilla extract. Add dates, raisins and pecans. Make small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350F until browned.
