3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening & sugar until light and fluffy. Add molasses, peanut butter & egg; blend well. Sift together flour, salt, soda, & powder. Stir into molasses mixture. Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. makes about 2 dozen.
