1 1/2 c water
1/4 tsp salt
1 T cocoa
1/2 c sugar

Bring everything to a boil, stir once and once only after it boils. Cover and turn off the heat. Allow to steam covered for 20 minutes, do not open in this time or you will ruin it.

Nancy Dunavan Long developed this recipe as a dessert. As a little girl it was the one thing I asked for again and again. It is pretty basic but it is good. She always served it with cream on it, but I didn't use the cream. It worked well to add milk or nothing, usually nothing.
