a cup brown sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 3 T. Butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1/3 C. whole milk or cream
Combine brown sugar, salt and cream in saucepan. Bring to the boiling point and cook on medium heat five minutes. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla, cool slightly. Beat until spreading consistency. Put on cake, will cover a 9x12 cake. Add nuts of top if desired
