1/3 c. cider vinegar 2 cloves garlic 2 shallots 1 T Dijon mustard 1 T. coarse mustard (Maille Old Style whole grain Dijon mustard) 2/3 c. maple syrup 1 c. oil
Mix all ingredients except garlic. Cut garlic cloves into 3 pieces and put in dressing for flavor. Add to salad lettuce, apples, gorgonzola cheese, and candied walnuts. ( You can also use blue cheese and pecans instead of gorgonzola cheese and walnuts.)
