Pastry:
1 1/2 C flour
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 C vegetable oil
2 T cold milk

Filling:
1/2 C sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
8 medium apples (Rome), peeled & sliced

Streusel:
1/2 C flour
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C butter, softened

Pastry:
Mix dry ingredients together. Stir wet ingredients into dry mixture. Pat into 9" pie plate.

Filling:
Mix dry ingredients together. Toss apples and dry mix together. Place in crust.

Streusel:
Cut butter into flour/sugar mix. Crumble over apples.

Preheat oven to 350. Place pie in heavy, large paper grocery bag (NOT recycled bag!!). Fold and seal bag. Bake for 1 1/2 hour. Do not open bag while cooking. Remove from bag immediately when done.
