Ingredients:
Dice potatoes
dried onions (or real)
Soup stock (Ham is best)
Ham flavored bullion

whole milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the potatoes and onions in as little water as you can get away with. Add bacon, ham or whatever to the potatoes, I use ham flavored bullion a lot in this. When everything is done you add the milk and heat it, but do not allow to boil. Taste to make sure you have enough salt. You can also make a white sauce to thicken the soup, but I rarely do that.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Old family favorite, the way my father (Joe Long) taught me to make it.
