1 whole chicken or pork
5-10 bay leaves
1/2 to 1 clove of garlic
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 T vinegar or lemon juice
1 T sugar
5 T cooking oil
pepper to taste

Cut chicken or pork into pieces.
Heat cooking oil slowly, put garlic and saute until brown.
Pour chicken or pork and saute for at least 5 minutes
Put the rest of the ingredients in and boil in medium heat for at least 45 minutes.
