2 cups flour
1 cup and 1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 egg slightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups drained frozen blueberries
1/2 cup walnut pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400.
Grease muffin cups. Mix flour, sugar (1 cup), baking powder, and salt. In separate bowl, mix milk, butter, egg, and vanilla.
Make well in middle of dry ingredients and add milk mixture. Stir to combine. Mash 1/4 cup blueberries and stir into batter with a few quick strokes. Stir in remaining blueberries and nuts. Spoon into muffin cups and sprinkle 1 tbsp sugar on top. Bake 20-25 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before removing from cups!
