2 cups mashed cooked butternut squash
3/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups bread crumbs
1-1/2 medium onion, chopped
1 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 or 2 beaten eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Pour into a 2-quart casserole. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes. This is great to make a day or two ahead-bring it to room temperature and bake about 45 minutes to 1 hour.350
