1 pound of fresh or frozen white fish (cod, halibut), 1 green bell pepper, cut into 1/1 inch squares,
2 tbs finely chopped onion
1 clove garlic minced
1 tbs cooking oil
1 large can tomatoes diced
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1/2 cup dry white or red wine
3 tablespoons parsley
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
1/4 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
1 pound of medium fresh shrimp (pelled & deviened)
2 cans 4 1/2 oz. crab meat or fresh crab as desired
1-2 6 1/2 oz cans minced clams or several fresh whole clams.

In a large saucepan cook green pepper, onion, and garlic in hot oil till onion is tender, add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, wine, parsley, oregano & basil, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and dash of pepper, bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Add fish, shrimp, crab, and clams. Bring just to a boiling. Reduce heat. Cover, simmer 5-7 minutes or till fish is done and clams open. Serve with warm sourdough bread.
