1 C Shortening
1 C Peanut Butter
1 C Sugar
1 C packed Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
2 1/4 C Flour
2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix shortening and peanut butter. Add both kinds of sugar and mix. Stir in eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, stir together flour, soda and salt. Stir in sugar mixture. Form dough into balls on a cookie sheet. Dip a glass bottom into sugar and then flatten each ball. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes.
